Wales care homes and Wales nursing homes

Wales is the largest principality in the world and also has one of the oldest recorded languages still in use. The Welsh economy was founded on coal mining and steel production, but in recent years it has focused more on the tourism, services and electronics sectors. Since the founding of the Welsh Assembly in 1999, Wales has had some degree of autonomy from England. Nevertheless, unlike Scotland, Wales has a care funding regime similar to that of England. All services are means tested and people with more than £20,000 have to contribute to their care costs.
