Welcome to The Beeches Nursing & Residential Home

The Beeches is a privately run nursing, residential and convalescent home, offering hotel facilities and ensuring special care for long or short-stay residents.

Jane Wyatt RGN, the owner since 1982, is a fully-trained nurse and is actively involved in the day-to-day running of the home.

Our aim is to provide quality of life for all residents making them feel valued and respected by meeting their needs with understanding, flexibility and sensitivity. The Beeches promotes freedom of choice within the home backed up by a professional and confidential team, adept in the knowledge of caring.

Whether you're looking for a permanent stay or just a short break for yourself, family member or a friend, The Beeches will be able to help and advise you.

Care Programme and Training

Our ethos is to be the best at all levels of care. This is enhanced by the number of trained staff we employ. All staff at The Beeches have been fully trained to the highest standard by the training manager who runs an efficient, structured programme.

Facilities

The Beeches facilities include; Lounge, Dining Room, Lifts, Patio and Garden, Hairdressing Salon, Chiropodist, Physiotherapist, Entertainment and Exercise and the home is located conveniently close to the town centre and seafront.

All 43 rooms have en-suite facilities and are equipped with a TV and nurse call bells. Single or double rooms are available. We encourage residents to bring personal items such as ornaments and pictures to help them feel at home in their new environment.

Catering

The Beeches offers only the highest standard of cooking and choice. All special dietary requirements are catered for. Head Chef, Tony Parsons, only purchases fresh vegetables and meat. Tony believes fresh produce provides the best nutritional value and the best flavours for his dishes.
