Downlands Park is a sympathetically
converted large private house and former school, which retains a homely
character and elegant rooms. It is situated in the attractive town of Haywards
Heath, and set in its own beautifully landscaped grounds with extensive lawns,
mature trees, a patio and gazebo.
Many rooms have views of the grounds,
and most offer en-suite facilities for privacy and convenience. Daily activities
are offered, and personal interests are encouraged, including flower arranging,
music, gardening and scrabble. Local attractions such as the West Sussex coast,
Brighton and Ditchling Beacon may be enjoyed on organised trips or with friends
and relatives. Links with the local community are maintained by offering day
care to local older people, and Downlands Park is also able to offer
post-operative care rehabilitiation, and care to people with Parkinson?s
Disease, Motor Neurone Disease and those who have had strokes.
