Us
The Gables is situated in the delightful Sussex countryside
but only two miles from the heart of Crawley. Attractive gardens surround the
house, originally built in the 1930's and now with the addition of a large
single storey extension, incorporating a conservatory and two charming courtyard
gardens.

short stay at The Gables
Residents are welcomed
for short stays at The Gables, whether to sample life in the home prior to
staying permanently, or while carers are on
holiday.
Philosophy of care...
To provide a homely environment where residents
are enabled to achieve their full potential, retaining their individuality,
privacy and self respect.
The Gables is registered for the care of elederly clients
requiring either nursing or residential care.
Led by the Matron Manager,
a team of trained nurses and care assistants staff The Gables twenty four hours
a day.
The named staff and key worker system provides each resident with
a member of staff especially to look after their individual care
needs.
Residents are encouraged to stay with their own G.P. if they have
lived locally, but if this is not possible, the home will arrange for residents
to be registered with one of the local doctors' surgeries.
Upon
admission, residents and their relatives, together with the care team, construct
a comprehensive care plan ensuring that every need is met. This care plan is
reviewed regularly.
