A beautifully situated country
house of warm red brick and stone, with spectacular views across the South
Downs, Pendean House has been sympathetically converted and
extended.
Just one mile from the market town of Midhurst, it
boasts extensive, well maintained mature gardens and a large pond. All the rooms
are elegantly decorated, all with en-suite facilities and many with stunning
views. The lounge retains its warm wood panelling, and the dining room with its
garden views is open to guests. Daily activities offered include garden and
cocktail parties and trips to the theatre, museums and local gardens. A car
service takes residents to Midhurst for shopping and appointments. Pendean House
also offers care to a number of younger residents with physical disabilities,
and to those requiring palliative or terminal care.
