Walldene Court is a purpose built home, circa 1993. It is owned and maintained by Anchor Trust, England’s largest not-for-profit provider of support, care and housing for older people. Set in its own grounds with gardens, Walldene Court is close to the local shops, pubs, churches and post office.

At Walldene Court, we provide nursing care for 42 older people (male and female) who have multiple nursing needs. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

• You can choose from the varied and seasonal menus each day
• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for
 
Leisure activities
• Library with large print books, audio and video tapes
• Newspapers can be delivered daily to your room
• Walldene Court has pleasant gardens with patio areas for summer
• Games are available such as board games and carpet bowls
• We have a music system and karaoke
• Our Social Activities Co-ordinator and residents arrange events including quizzes, arts and crafts and entertainers
• You are encouraged to play a part in daily living activities which can include gardening and cookery
