Barnfield is a purpose-built home, circa 1970. The home is owned and maintained by Anchor Trust, England’s largest not-for-profit provider of support, care and housing for older people. Set in a quiet location and in its own grounds, Barnfield is close to local amenities and excellent bus and train routes to Crawley, Brighton and London. Most rooms have views of the gardens.
At Barnfield, we provide residential care for 63 older people (male and female) with increasing physical and mental frailties and varying mental health needs. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

• Our library offers a wide variety of books including large print and videos
• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room
• Barnfield has a pleasant garden with patio and sitting area, ideal for the summer

• Games are available such as board games, skittles, etc.
• Our in-house shop sells confectionery and greetings cards
• We have a hairdressing salon and activity room
• Regular events and entertainment are organised at our home each week
