Limegrove is a purpose built residential home, circa
1997. The home is owned and maintained by Anchor Trust,
England’s largest not-for-profit provider of support,
care and housing for older people. Set in a quiet
location and in its own beautiful grounds, Limegrove is
close to local shops, pubs, post office and excellent
train routes to nearby towns. Most rooms have lovely
views of the well-kept gardens.
At Limegrove, we provide residential care for 54 older
people (male and female) with varying physical abilities
and mental frailty. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to
provide care and support.

• We have a selection of books in each lounge area
(including large print). The local mobile library
visits every 3 months
• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your

• Limegrove has an elegant garden with patio, coppice
and sitting areas, ideal for summer
• We have a stereo system and a piano
• Games are available such as board games, carpet
bowls, etc.
• Our mobile shop sells confectionery and greetings cards
• We have a hairdressing salon and activities room
• Residents can play a full part in daily living
activities, such as gardening and light house-keeping
• Regular events and entertainment are organised at our
home each week
