Abbeywood is a purpose-built home, circa 1970. The home is owned and maintained by Anchor Trust, England’s largest not-for-profit provider of support, care and housing for older people. Set in a quiet location and in its own grounds, Abbeywood is close to local shops, pubs, post office and excellent bus routes to Aldershot and Guildford. Most rooms have views of the well-kept gardens or the courtyard.

At Abbeywood, we provide residential care for 50 older people (male and female) with increasing physical and mental frailties and varying mental health needs. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Our in-house shop sells confectionery, toiletries and greetings cards
• We have a hairdressing salon
• Regular events and entertainment are organised at our home each week
