Aspen Court is a purpose built home for 42 clients . The Home, which is registered by the Somerset County Council, has been luxuriously appointed to provide accomodation for older persons with security, safety and privacy in mind. It is conviently situated only a short walk to the nearest shop and within easy reach of churches, shopping centre, doctors surgery and library.
All accomodation is centrally heated, fitted stain proof & waterproof carpets throughout, with the latest fire detection and control equipment. An electronic call system serves all rooms to ensure peace of mind for our clients 24 hours a day. Specialist baths are also situated in each living unit. A passenger lift serves the first floor and many aids have been included in the thoughtful design of Aspen Court.
Client’s bedrooms, which are spacious and airy, all have full en-suite with walk in shower. They also feature electric profiling beds, flatscreen TV with freeview and radio, Broadband internet access, touch base lamps, underfloor heating & colour coordinated fabrics.
The lounges are equipped with colour TV, video and stereo system. A variety of books, games and other activities are also available. Our activities co-ordinator will organise activities to suit everyone, including input one to one, and group activities, all completely client led.
Our kitchen offers a selection of hot and cold fare at all meals. Special diets are catered for. Meals may be taken in any of the five dining rooms or the client’s private rooms.
All personal services are provied, such as laundry, occupational therapy, nail cutting and basic toiliteries are included.
