Originally a private house, Green Gates has been tastefully converted into a welcoming nursing home set in the residential area of Summertown.
It is close to local shops and on a local bus route. The entrance hall retains three stained glass windows depicting the streets and colleges of Oxford. There are four well furnished comfortable lounges and a large dining room which provide places for residents to meet and to entertain guests. There is also a pleasant garden to be enjoyed. Each bedroom is individually decorated, and all offer en-suite facilities. Regular activities include musical entertainment, gardening, games and even French conversation, as well as trips to local places of interest. Green Gates is also able to offer palliative and terminal care.
