About the Home:
Primrose House is a Nursing Home established in 1989
accommodating 23 residents. It is situated on Kenton Lane in Harrow Weald,
Middlesex. Majority of the rooms are single with 3 companion rooms. The home is
registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection to cater for the
elderly and frail and residents with dementia.
Philosophy of Care:
Our aim is to provide a safe, pleasant, caring and relaxed
atmosphere for all residents to ensure that they are offered high quality
packages of care. We aim to seek the maximum development of each individual
within their potential and in leading a happy, fulfilled and carefree life and
stay at the Home. We also aim to continually improve our care and services to
meet the changing needs of our residents.
Facilities:
- Bedrooms are spacious, individually decorated and include
hand wash basins
- TV points and remote control colour televisions in all
bedrooms
- 2 lounges with ample space for residents with remote
control TV and video
- Easy to operate Nurse Call System throughout the
Home
- Spacious recently built conservatory overlooking secluded
landscaped garden and fish pond
- Special equipment including Pressure Relieving
Mattresses, Hoist, Bath aid (Parker Bath), 13 passenger lift
- Disabled toilets and showers
- Compliance with safety requirements i.e. smoke/heat
detectors, self closing fire doors, fire escapes, fire fighting equipment
throughout the Home

- Smoking and non-smoking areas
- Open visiting policy, including children. Pets by
