At Rose Farm we are passionate about providing the highest standard of care. Our philosophy is to support our residents to achieve the best quality of life possible. We appreciate that each resident has their own special reason for being with us, and it is our privilege and challenge to help them enjoy life to the full.

Rose Farm

Situated in a peaceful, rural hamlet with views of open fields to the front and rear, Rose Farm has the perfect setting for a residential home. It stands on the main road through the small village of Styrrup, which has historical connections with the medieval jousting fields close by. There is good access to the A1, M1, and M18 motorways and the towns of Doncaster, Rotherham, Worksop and Retford are all within 30 minutes drive.

The buildings have been thoughtfully and attractively converted from barns which date back to the 1700s, and by retaining their original features and character we have managed to create an attractive, homely and comfortable environment for our clients.

The home is divided into three separate areas, 'The Cottage', 'The Barns' and 'The Garden Wing', each offering independent facilities which enable our clients to have greater choice of living areas, depending upon their needs and preferences. All our bedrooms, lounges, dining rooms, bathrooms and toilets have a nurse call point fitted and TV points are found in every bedroom. Private telephone lines may be fitted by arrangement. Residents are welcome to bring personal belongings and small items of furniture, and pets are allowed in some homes.

The home has an activities organiser to provide stimulating and interesting activities, taking account of residents' interests. There is always a varied menu of fresh, nutritious food, but special dietary or cultural needs will always be catered for.

The Cottage

This is a small separate unit for eight residents, suitable for the more independent client who prefers a homely environment. The Cottage has six single rooms and one double room, all of which have an en suite.

The Barns

The Barns is situated in the main building and has fifteen single rooms and one double room. This unit cares for the more dependent client as staffing ratios are higher.

The Garden Wing

This purpose built unit provides care for clients with dementia. It is a separate unit with twenty three single rooms and one double room, all with en suite facilities. There is also a secure garden area for clients to enjoy.
