Shipdham Manor is a two hundred
year old house situated between East Dereham and Watton, in the picturesque
village of Shipdham. It stands within a pretty landscaped garden, which is
easily accessible to the residents, and has several secluded sitting areas,
including a summer house next to a water feature.
All bedrooms have en-suite
facilities, smoke alarms, nurse-call system, television and telephone points.
They are all lockable. Although each room is well furnished, residents are
encouraged to bring their own furniture, pictures and ornaments to make their
room as close to home as possible.
Within the Manor there are two
quiet rooms, a television lounge, a conservatory, and the main lounge where
activities and entertainment take place. There are four bathrooms, two of which
are assisted with bath hoists, and one is a spa bath. There is also a shower
adapted for disabled use.
A caring staff team is on duty 24
hours a day, and our local doctors and district nurses will visit when
needed.
