ALT Park is a private 35 bedded Home. It is registered with CSCI to provide care for the elderly male or female over 65 years with EMI needs.

It is our intention to provide the highest quality of care for our residents in friendly homely surroundings in order to achieve each residents maximum potential.

Philosophy of care
Residential care offers elderly people the opportunity to enhance their quality of life by providing safe, manageable and comfortable environment, plus support and stimulation to help them to maximise their potential physical, intellectual, emotional and social capacity.

Residents are encouraged to be involved in all decisions affecting their lives unless there are demonstrable reasons why this is not possible or appropriate.

Homes ensure that the needs and wishes of all residents as ascertained respected and met wherever possible, particularly bearing in mind ethnic, religious and cultural factors.

Care Delivery
The home manager is a highly qualified nurse with extensive experience in the care of elderly people. She manages a team who are committed to providing quality care. We believe that care is best delivered by staff working closely with residents and their relatives. All care is given under the direction of trained nurses with experience in caring for older people and each resident will have a named nurse who is responsible for the assessment/planning and delivery of care. In addition each resident will have a nominated carer or key worker who will become a friend and take special interest in their wellbeing.

The Home and Accommodation
ALT Park is a mainly purpose built home specialising in providing care for the elderly. Local shops and amenities are a short distance from the home.

The home is registered with CSCI in Liverpool. The home provides quality accommodation and offers two lounges and a dining room. The home is practically furnished to provide a homely environment.

We realise that even for those who are fully fit moving home can be a very traumatic experience. To the elderly this can be even more traumatic and is often compared with personal bereavement. To the elderly who can be frail and confused moving home can bring feelings of fear, anxiety and depression. The expertise that we have in the care of the elderly helps us to ensure that we are able to provide the help and support necessary to individuals in this often stressful and difficult time.
