Dawson Lodge is a purpose built home, circa 1991. It is owned
and maintained by Anchor Trust, England’s largest not-for-profit
provider of support, care and housing for older people. Set in a
quiet location and in its own grounds, Dawson Lodge is close to
the local shops and post office. Most rooms have views of the
well-kept gardens.

At Dawson Lodge we provide residential care for 41 older people
(male and female) who have physical disabilities,
moderate dementia and mental health needs.
Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room
• Dawson Lodge has very pleasant gardens with an area to sit out in summer
and open fields to the South and North where deer graze
• The Rosebowl, home of Hampshire Cricket is opposite the home
• Games are available such as board games and carpet bowls
• We have a hairdressing salon
• Residents and staff arrange events including quizzes, arts and crafts,
day trips, entertainers and exercise classes
• You are encouraged to play a part in daily living activities, which can
include gardening and light house-keeping
