Four acres of picturesque gardens and woodland provide an idyllic background for the magnificent Victorian country mansion that is Walshaw Hall. Through sensitive refurbishment we have created an elegant and comfortable environment, with all bedrooms and reception rooms tastefully decorate and luxuriously furnished with co-ordinating fabrics.
Our Aim
It is our aim at all times to maintain a homely and stimulating atmosphere where residents can continue their daily lives and have the opportunity to enjoy the company of new friends. We stress the importance of independence, privacy, retention of dignity, respect, choice, safety and rights of each resident. At the same time our aim is to provide sufficient care and facilities to make life as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Residents can control their own daily routine wherever possible and we encourage a full and active lifestyle.
Accommodation
Walshaw Hall offers mainly single rooms with en suite facilities. The rooms are individual in character, spacious, comfortable and tastefully furnished, and each one is equipped with 24-hour nurse call, TV and telephone points. Residents may wish to bring along items of their own furniture and are encouraged to personalise their rooms.
