Bethune Court is a purpose built home, circa 1991. The home is owned and maintained by Anchor Trust, England’s largest not-for-profit provider of support, care and housing for older people. Set in a residential area and in its own grounds, Bethune Court is close to local amenities and excellent bus routes to Hastings and Bexhill-on-Sea. Most of our rooms have lovely views over the English Channel.

 

At Bethune Court, we provide residential care for 45 older people (male and female) with increasing physical and mental frailties. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

• Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for

• You can choose from the menus each day

• All three meals are served in the dining room or in the privacy of your room

• Tea-making facilities for residents and their visitors.

 

Leisure activities

• Residents run the library which has a variety of books to choose from, including large print

• Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room

• Bethune Court has a pleasant garden, patio and sitting area, ideal for sitting out in summer

• A piano is available

• Music systems available in the lounges

• We have a hairdressing salon

• Residents run the in-house shop which sells various items for your convenience

• Games available such as carpet bowls and board games, etc.

• Regular events and entertainment are frequently organised at our home each week.

• Our chiropodist visits once every four-six weeks or on request

• Our hairdressers visit twice weekly

• Holistic therapies are available on request.
