Manor Court is a purpose built home, circa 1989. It is owned and maintained by Anchor Trust, England’s largest not-for-profit provider of support, care and housing for older people. Set in a convenient location and with its own gardens, Manor Court is close to the local shops and post office. Some of our rooms have lovely views of the River Plym.
At Manor Court, we provide residential care for 37 older people (male and female) who have physical disabilities, moderate dementia and some mental health needs. Staff are on hand 24-hours a day to provide care and support.

Dining • Breakfast is served in the dining room or a continental breakfast can be brought to your room • Supper is served either in the lounge or can be enjoyed in your room • We offer a wide range of dining at Manor Court. You can choose from the varied and seasonal menus each day • Choice of healthy and nutritious meals and any special dietary requirements catered for
Leisure activities • We have a library with large print books, audio and video tapes • Newspapers can be ordered and delivered daily to your room • Kimberley Court has very well-maintained gardens with areas to sit out in summer • We have a stereo and piano • Games are available such as board games and carpet bowls • We have a hairdressing salon • Events are arranged including quizzes, day trips, entertainers and professional exercise classes • You can play a part in daily living activities which can include gardening and light house-keeping
Facilities • Wheelchair access and car parking are available • We have access to a shared mini bus when required • Pets are welcome by arrangement • Our in-house shop sells confectionery and greetings cards • We have a personal laundry facility and service • A pay telephone is available • Religious services and meetings are arranged
Health and personal care • There is a GP available on request and 3 local surgeries • Our Hairdresser visits twice a week • Our Chiropodist visits every month • Physiotherapist and District Nurse visit by arrangement • Dentist & Optician – visiting and local services are available • Holistic therapy – details of local providers are available
