Welcome to Lauren Court Care Centre, a very friendly place where we aim to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible. Situated in its own grounds, Lauren Court Care Centre offers residential care. It has private lawned gardens and a secure patio area where you can sit and enjoy the fine summer days. Friends or family are welcome to visit you at any time.
We have a lot to offer you - such as excellent accommodation, lovely home-cooked food and all the help you need to make your life here pleasant and comfortable. It is important to us that you feel relaxed and welcome, and that your relatives are confident you are being well supported. We do everything we can to make this a very pleasant place to be, but if there is anything you think we can improve on, we are always keen to hear your comments and suggestions.

Lauren Court Care Centre is located in the quiet area of Blacon, within minutes of the historic town of Chester. You will feel instantly at home in our safe and secure environment. It is purpose built with accommodation on two floors, and offers extremely high quality accommodation and services, provided by friendly staff who make sure you have everything you need.
We have 47 large and bright single bedrooms all with en-suite facilities and there is also a variety of beautiful lounge and dining areas, conservatory and a reception area where you can welcome friends and family at any time.
We know how important it is to have time and space to yourself, so we put a lot of effort into making sure your room is pleasant, comfortable and personal to you. All the bedrooms at Lauren Court Care Centre are tastefully decorated and colour co-ordinated with very high quality curtains, carpets and bedding.
As well as a bed, you will also have a wardrobe and other lockable furniture. All of our rooms have telephone and television points, so if you want to watch all your favourite programmes in peace, you can - and because all our bedrooms have a nurse call system, you can feel safe all the time. We also give you plenty of space for your own personal things, so you can make your room as individual as you are.
Home Cooking
We all know that food is one of life's great pleasures, so we provide a varied choice of menu every day. You can eat in your own room or with the other residents in one of our dining rooms. As well as your main meals, you can have snacks and drinks at any time of day or night, and if you have a special diet, our chef will be happy to discuss it with you before you come and stay with us.
Day-to-day living
We will cater for all your day-to-day needs. We have a hairdresser who visits each week to help you feel and look your best. Our efficient in-house laundry service provides freshly laundered bedding and clothing whilst our on-call maintenance team ensures that our care centre runs smoothly and the grounds are kept tidy throughout the year.

Our registered and qualified Care Centre Manager personally supervises all our staff, who we continually train to make the most of their experience and skills. In recognition of this, we hold the prestigious Investors in People Award and the maximum five stars in Health and Safety awarded by the British Safety Council. Meridian Healthcare is accredited with disability two ticks, demonstrating our commitment to equal opportunities for all.
Social Activities
There are many activities for you to join in with, ranging from trips to local points of interest to playing cards and doing armchair aerobics or even arts and crafts with your fellow residents. We also hold events such as fetes, special occasion parties and birthday celebrations which we hope you will get involved with - and invite your friends and family.
